hello fictionpress,

i have never made an update that is solely an a/n, but i suppose there’s a first time for everything!

i tend to think 75% of the people that post chapters saying “something came up, i’m taking a hiatus blahblah” are simply fishing for attention so i feel somewhat bad about posting this, but i have my reasons.

i got a handful of messages asking me to update chutes & ladders and i promised all inquirers that i’d have an update out by august, but unfortunately some shit came up and i no longer have the usernames of the people that contacted me, thus this update. i was raped the night/morning of the 24/25th and find myself drastically uninspired to write at the moment, especially considering 95% of my material is heavily sexual/romance-oriented. i’m sorry for my empty promises and i’m sorry for this silly update and way too much information, but i figured it would be better than directly lying to some of the people that appreciate my writing and made an effort to contact me personally.

that said, if you couldn’t already tell, i am somewhat at a stand-still for this story. i have no idea where i want things to go. i have some small ideas, but none awesome enough to really inspire me to sit down and get cranking. so my request from you is to suggest anything you would like to see (if it’s interesting enough, i will be more than happy to write about it,) or maybe point out some loose ends i can tie together. at this point any feedback would be appreciated.
