Sunlight, highlight, lowlights, shadows where a kite takes flight

Flitting over noble citrus adorned in summer ornament

Knights of Orange watch the kit glide lightly through

Cloudy kingdoms out of reach, circling silently,

Fantastic prince elevated in gaudy dress far outstripping

Mottled greens and bround common to lands below.

Unaware of hours, our royal kite wanders breathlessly,

Engaged at every twist, turn, twirl on the lusty breeze.

Humming tunes to fantastic dreams, day slips away,

Splashes of twilight tinge the kite's playful reverie

With more passionate hues; soon enough 'tis too dark

And out of his kingdom the earth drags down our kite.
