The demon invasion has arrived on Lys’ planet and Lys being both Maroon and Psychic not knowingly uses his ability of Psyburst to predict this coming. Lys steals a spaceship that the demons have arrived in and escapes. When the demons find this out they chase the ship for a while before shooting it down. Lys’ stolen spaceship crashes on the planet Lumos where he gets ejected out of the ship, lands on his face, and breaks his nose. What he does not know is that he landed in the Cursed Forest and the blood from his broken nose has agitated the monsters that live there. Among the monsters is a huge centipede that unfortunately for Lys cannot feel and is strong against psychic power (not that he knows how to use it).
Grey who happens to be walking by finds Lys confronted by the centipede monster and battles it.
After the centipede battle

They walk quickly out of the forest, Grey heals his broken nose (although his healing magic is not that good)

Lys: Hey… thanks!

Grey: pointing at Lys’ nose That’s not gonna last too long, cause I suck at healing magic. We’ll fix it properly at my mother’s house.

Lys: Um… okay… Like, what are you anyway?

Grey: I’m a Twilight.

Lys: A wha…?

Grey: An angel/ demon hybrid

Lys: Cool…

They walk in silence for a little while

Grey: Oh crap!

Lys stops, startled

Grey: I got bug goo in my feathers. grabs wings and plucks goo out

Lys: anime plop

They walk some more

Grey: Yells Oh crap! even louder This bug crap is stuck in my hair. starts mumbling to himself about his hair

Lys: For once could you care about something other than yourself!

Grey: If I don’t clean myself Mom’s gonna be worried. She thinks I’m out getting the milk.

Lys: Yeah weird things always happen when getting milk.

Grey: yells Oh crap hide!

Lys: Would you stop doing that! gets pulled behind a large boulder What’s this about?

Grey: It’s those two creepy girls from town that keep following me.

Lys: Glad I don’t have that problem.

Grey: No but they think I’m their boyfriend. They’re always fighting over me.

Lys: with a confused look Okay…

They peek around the rock

Grey: Oh good, they’re walking away. The demon one is Laura and the angel one is Couré.

Lys: Yeah they’re quite cute. drools

Grey: The only good thing about having them around is that I get free lunch. Otherwise they’re just annoying.

Lys: Can we go now? My legs are starting to cramp.

Grey: Uh… sure.

They continue to walk until a town can be seen

Grey: This is the town of Featherfield. The capital of Lumos is a few miles from here. An easy flight… if you have wings of course…

Lys rolls his eyes

Grey: … two hour walk… my house is near the center of the village.

Lys: Great more walking.

Grey: in mind Lazy bum!

Lys: stares oddly

Still walking for two hours until they come to a two- story house with a garden full of flowers.

Grey: Home sweet home!

Lys: under breath Finally!

starts to bleed again, only faster and more

Grey: Maybe I should go in first. The sight of blood scares my sister. he goes in

Grey’s sister Mimori is drawing at the kitchen table

Grey: You might want to go upstairs for a while I have a friend who’s bleeding… well a lot outside.

Mimori: Eww. runs upstairs

Grey leads Lys in the kitchen

Grey: Wait here… gotta take care of something in the next room.

Lys: Hurry back I might die.

Grey: You’re not gonna die, that’s barely a flesh wound.

Lys: Just hurry back okay.

Grey races off to the next room. In the room there is a shrine honoring his father. Grey quickly pays his respects.

Meanwhile

Lys: Stupid jerk, with his stupid magic.

A very beautiful woman walks in.

Woman: Hi you must be one of Grey’s friends.

Grey: from next room Yeah right.

Lys: Are you his sister?

Woman: anime blushes What? No. I’m Grey’s mom Leena. Oh dear, you’re bleeding, let me fix that.

Heals Lys’ broken nose

Lys: Thanks. in mind Oh so Grey’s his name. laughs loudly

Grey walks in

Grey: What’s so funny in here?

Leena: Grey! You’ve been fighting in that forest again?!

Grey: How did you know?

Leena: There’s bug slime all over your sneakers. And you’ve forgotten the milk.
Grey: Crap!

Lys: laughing louder more hysterically

Mimori: from upstairs Can I come down now?

Grey: yells upstairs Sure Mimori.

Mimori comes down the stairs

Lys: Suddenly quieted Is she a Twilight too?

Grey: Duh. Can’t you tell by her wings?

Lys: Well yeah but they’re um… different.

Grey: So!

Lys: Deep sigh

Leena: turning to Lys So you must have a name. What is it?

Lys: hesitates It’s Ralph—

Grey bursts out laughing.

Leena: slaps Grey Don’t be rude!

Mimori bursts out laughing as well.

Grey: rubbing his head It’s not funny anymore.

Lys: a little embarrassed But don’t ever call me that.

Everyone looks around confused

Lys: Uh… just call me Lys.

Grey starts to laugh again.

Leena: hits Grey on the head again Go get the milk!

Grey: mumbles Alright I’ll go get the darn milk. runs off to get the milk

Mimori: With child –like cuteness So what are you? You don’t have wings.

Lys: giving into child-like cuteness I’m Psychic and Maroon.

Mimori: So can you read minds and stuff?

Lys: Yeah… your brother thinks of the weirdest things.

Mimori: Like what?

Lys: Like… um… nothing just strange thoughts.
