Fluffy Bunny Story:
--
"Arley?" Colin asked, re-entering the bedroom, where his still-shirtless lover was still in bed.
Arley propped himself up on his elbows. "What's wrong?" he asked.
Colin sat down on the edge of the bed. "We need to talk."
"About what?" Arley asked, sitting up properly.
"About-" Colin waved his hand in the air. "About this moving in together—thing," he said.
Now Arley was worried. Colin wasn't about to throw him out, was he? He still had the rent on his old place, of course, and so far only half his stuff had been moved, but he'd really thought Colin was serious when he'd made the offer. "What about it?" Arley asked cautiously.
Colin sighed. "I was attacked this morning."
Arley scratched his head, not following the change in conversation, and too confused to be properly upset.
"In the shower," Colin continued, watching Arley carefully.
Arely frowned. If he'd been attacked in the shower, he'd be a bit more upset. And he probably wouldn't have finished getting dressed and ready for the day before coming to tell his lover about it. "Are you okay?" he hesitantly asked his boyfriend.
"Then at breakfast," Colin continued without answering. "I was attacked again. Only this time the perpetrator ate the cereal in my bowl before running off, leaving a trail of dust behind him."
Suddenly realizing what Colin was talking about, Arley burst into laughter. "Comet, was it?"
Colin smiled, now that his joke had been caught. He didn't laugh, but that smile was enough. "And Zambine thought he'd make a nest above the shower."
Arley shook his head. "I thought I talked with that flying rodent about making moves on my man," he said. "You'd think that getting his balls cut off would have been enough to drive the point home, but I guess I'll have to talk with him again." Neuter jokes were always squirmingly funny. Pulling his lover towards him, Arley hugged Colin tight. "It's not really a problem, is it?"
Colin shook his head. "Not compared with how happy Bunjamin is to have Ufo here."
Arley laughed quietly. "Is Bunjamin the only one who's happy?" he asked, by now used to the need to prompt personal responses from Colin.
Colin shifted so he could look into Arley's eyes. "'m happy, too," he muttered, burying his head in Arley's chest a moment later when the intensity became too much.
