This is more than likely a really bad poem but I have a soft spot for it. Even so I would really like to know if anyone thinks this is shit and should be thrown in a compost pile or is semi-ok. thanks!
Find the truth between the lies

Muddled with the myths of yesterday

The true lies of today are riddles

Complicated half-truths spoken in common tongue

are the only acceptable news

A shadow of a doubt speaks volumes to the masses of uncertainty

‘What’s going on’ they scream into the night

The answer is only an echo of the past generation’s failed quest for answers

No one can make any sense from this pathetic dialog

So the lost will only get confused

The confidence will be the only source of comfort to the old

The middleman will be the ones who will profit on the ideas and dreams of the oppressed

Some will try to find solace in religion

A concept to make sense of all things intangible

Skeptics condemn them for beliefs not scientific

Critics of faith call the institution fakes

To question is to learn

To fight is to rebel

Conforming can be less difficult to those struggling to support you

Everyone will get their time to rebel and not hurt the ones that care for you

Resist authority

Rise against conformity
