The Little Girl Weakness

The Little girl named Weakness

Was sitting outside

Of a man named Order’s room

She looked inside,

He was sleeping

And she didn’t want to wake him.

Order lived in an apartment named

Loneliness

He had two neighbors

Each with their own name

But weakness calls them

“Missed”

Seven men go marching into

Order’s room

All seven with their own name,

Weakness calls them “Unity”

She did not stop them, for

She knew Order would enjoy

Their visit

The last man called Unity lefts the

Blanket off of Order’s bed

Unity folds it and hands it

To Weakness. They salute,

And walk away.

Weakness bites her lip

Trying not to cry.

A man called “Sincere” comes up and

Begins to speak.

Many people stood behind Weakness.

They each have their own name.

Weakness calls them “Loved”

A Loved named Caring takes

Weakness’s hand

As they close the apartment door.

Weakness bites her lip

She wants to be strong. She

Doesn’t want to cry.

But the tears fall still.

And the tears fall still.
