AN- You’ve all played this game before. One player writes a word and passes it to the next who writes another word and sends it back. You put the cycle on repeat, and wait for madness and literary disaster to ensue. My Best Friend (and better half), and I are insane. You have been warned. I will probably add more chapters to this, making it a full blown cesspool of humor, as she and I will probably make a habit out of playing this game at times when we should be paying attention. i.e.- class. As usual, reviews are returned.

PS- Don’t hold it against me.

The One Word Story Game
Day One
01/29/08
Players: Nikki and Emily

Once upon a time, in a land called Easter a lazy cat named Ducky wanted to build a gingerbread train. But a hungry caterpillar wanted Ducky’s vanilla cookies, so he hid in her bushes. But Ducky forgot how to sing so she jumped out onto the chocolate volcano. The chocolate erupted into the yard of doom. Caterpillar got stuck in the muck. A Tugboat came and tried to pull Chuck out of the stickiness, but Ducky stopped it. She threw a yarn ball in the steam stack. Chuck ate all the chocolate and died, but Ducky felt that she should use her magic spatula and hit Chuck on the big head. Chuck ran like his momma to the bakery down town for all flour and sugar because he didn’t feel dead. He helped Ducky build her gingerbread train. They rode horses across the circus so they could avoid Quizno’s clowns on musical scooters. Then they wanted to climb an ice-cream cone, but they didn’t because their bodies sunk into the messy abyss. They heard an ice-cream truck song really loudly and got away. Later, they went back to Ducky’s gingerbread train and ate cantaloupe and turkey burgers while Chuck reminded Ducky how to sing. They sung about Cheesecake liberation, and were happy.
