Okay, this was a random outburst during my math class. I was bored and decided to do something daring... CHEESINESS!!!! ACK! NEways... enjoy!

--------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dancing around, the heat of the sun covered me like a blanket. The air, you could say, was so thick you could cut it with a butter knife.
My bare feet beating upon the stone walkway. The hum of the birds filled my ears, creating a calming tune.

"Dance with me!" I had whispered amongst myself, picturing my lover in my arms once again. The war had been cruel, calling my beloved king off to fight.
I would have been along beside him, defending my lord to the death. But! to my surprise, the gods had bestowed upon me a child. All at once I had been overwhelmed with joy, dishearten, terror, and a blessing.
Though it had been years since the birth of my first son, I still heard no news of my husband.

Laughing, I recalled our last ball together. The king had made a fool of himself while expressing his joy of the new, to-be, arrival.

"Why won't you dance with me?" I spoke out to the empty wind.
I could hear the laughter of Isaic, my son. But, I pondered, what was he laughing at? For he found my dancing enchanting and fun, not funny!
So what could his laughing be for?
I brushed it off, spinning faster and faster, arms out to be waltzing with an imaginary person. But unknowing to me, someone else had been watching me.

Quickly, yet ever so quietly, someone replaced the invisible person in my arms. I stopped dead in my tracks, staring at the man before me, not comprehending.
His short, ruffled brown locks. Large, green eyes. And tanned, almost dark skin. Was it a ghost? Or was he real?
I lifted my hand to his right cheek, feeling the skin beneath it flinch. He was real!

I jumped into my lover's arms, the chiming of his laughter sweet music to me.

I would NEVER! let my king leave my tight embrace ever again!
