Open hearted gentle nothings
Always whispered in my ear
I always wonder when I’ll find some
One to tell my secret fears

Always falling, always lonely
Life is full of deep regrets
I almost always cry and crumble
When I see your silhouette

You’re my faded memory
Before you were so strong
But now you’re gone you slipped away
How could we be so wrong
To think such childish things
Like true love never dies
Ha, it can be ripped away
It can be shot down from the sky

Don’t forget me, never leave me
That is all I will expect
As time goes on the gap grows larger
In this web of self neglect

You’re my faded memory
bitter thoughts and quiet laughs
I wish so much to be with you
You were truly my other half
But too much has happened
Too much has changed
I could've sworn I'd moved on from this
And the thoughts we had exchanged

You’re my faded memory
Before you were so strong
But time goes on you fade away
How could we be so wrong
To think such childish things
Like true love never dies
If I knew then what I know now
I’d know it was a lie
Because it can be ripped away
And shot down from the sky

Please don’t leave now I still need you
Even if we can’t be cured
My broken heart still carries hope
And all these lies… they reassure
