That's where I find him.
The blood is already dry when I get there, and Mango looks up at me sadly.
"You always come for me." He whispers
"You're my knight in shining armor.."
When he passes out in my arms, I cradle him softly, the tears that he had not cried running down my own cheeks.
I will fix him. And then, he will be happy, and maybe I can be good enough to fill the holes left in his heart. Until then, I will have to make do with the one in his butt.
