Please do not wake me,

The world is not kind,

For those whose dreams live,

Whilst no one still sleeps,

Reality twists,

And tangles through day,

Hurting the dreamer.

Please do not wake me,

For reality,

Can be much less real,

Compared to my dreams,

Less beautiful too,

Please do not wake me,

I will not wake you.
