celebration.

you got promotion and everyone stood around the office, congratulating. with coffee or water or a special mixture held in those white styrofoam cups, raising them to you. your eyes lock with mine, and she doesn’t see it. i wonder why. you held her loosely.

“why so loosely?” i ask later when we’re alone in your office. i’m sitting on your desk and your lips curve into a smile.

“why so loosely?” he repeats, slowly, eyes undressing me. “does it matter?”

i shrug and you brush your lips to mine. you groan softly as you press yourself between my legs. “when?”

i know his question, and stare him in his eyes, whisper against the soft succulent flesh of his lips. “does it matter?”

he says nothing; neither do i.
