Secondly, I took that test and I did beat it by a whole standard deviation. I don’t know if that means I’m uber smart or I’m uber gullible and easily provoked by cheap taunts featuring dancing US presidents but seeing as I haven’t exactly come out with the formula for perpetual energy or disproved any of Einstein’s theories, I’d say the latter.

Best wishes for the New Year and I assure you Stop the Press is right on schedule according to the Chinese calendar. New Years has been set for the 7th of February on the common calendar and I’m sure vigorous celebrations are already underway – mine are. I wanted to point out how much of a miracle it is that the newsletter has seen its second New Year. I believe that this has nothing to do with anyone being as smart (or smarter) than Bush. The newsletter lives because I have always had great support for it. Every time I start to wonder why I go through the anguish of harassing writers and last minute panics, some bright eyed enthusiast appears to save the day. Regardless of what you think, I do not keep StP alive; the newsletter has always been driven chiefly by a handful of talented writers who never fail to intrigue and amuse me and the readers with their submissions. Thanks guys.
