A quick authors note:
I know I know. I hate these as well. But it’s truly necessary.
First, I wish to thank everyone that has taken the time to read and review my fiction. You have no idea what each one means to me. I often catch myself going back to them and re-reading them all, simply because they give me the drive I require to write once more.
Unfortunately, what has begun to occur with increasing frequency is that, as I go over Bride of the Black Prince more and more, I grow increasingly dissatisfied with the flow and structure. I begin to dislike my own writing and I have long accepted that an author’s dislike for work translates into a reader’s dislike. Similarly with an author’s inability to enjoy writing a story becoming a reader’s inability to enjoy reading it.
Thus, I am placing Bride of the Black Prince on hiatus for a while, because I think I am going to re-write it. If any of my reviewers wish to help me with the re-writing process as beta readers, I would greatly appreciate it.
Whether or not I do a full overhaul of the story or minor chapter changes, I don’t know yet. I know the direction I want it to go, but it isn’t progressing properly for a story.
I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience.
Anne Whyn.
