sometimes, starting over has a
perfect place in a life
of someone who couldn't find,
who is finding,
who is found.
despite nightmares keeping me shivering,
i refuse to let the dark haunt me.
light cliches can really only describe it -
purpose.
a reason to sleep, a reason to wake,
a reason to take up each grin
possibly available.
highs and lows define me,
but being up in the sky takes up
most of my time.
it's now my turn to fly.

a/n: so it's been awhile since i posted, yea? this past year has been amazing to me. i have to say, my life has taken a turn for the better. i am extremely happy to say that the past is only the past now. i'm sorry if this poem is a little to... boring or sappy or stupid, but eh. sorry. :)
