like old-time's sake,
when everything was
great and easy
and flawed
but still okay.
We can both pretend
it hasn't been
3 months or
3 years since
things fell apart.
I've fixed my heart
since then. But you
are still chasing
that shadow that was me.
We both have a good laugh.
