Darkness: The Longest Road

Dark

This wasn't even the word, yet, it was the closest one

So quiet

Alone, yet I have the strangest feeling someone is with me

I turn back

More Darkness

I sigh, and kept walking

Where was I going though?

Why was I walking here?

And more importantly, HOW did I get here?

I fell to my knees and started to cry

I curled up into a ball, on the cold ground.

I continued to cry, cry, and cry.

I asked myself, 'Is any of this for real…..or not?'

I wanted answers.

I then felt something warm grab me

I looked up and saw him.

The one I truly cared about

I couldn't see his face but I knew he was there

I didn't know who he was and I didn't care

As long as he was there to walk with me through the Darkness
