“Until Time Stops”

Constant like the clouds in the sapphire sky
Or the pull of the moon upon the gentle blue sea.
As beautiful as a blooming flower in the springtime
And the array of colors a rainbow can guarantee.

Don’t all sweethearts claim that’s how their love will always be?

Tranquil like the sweet scent of roses on a warm summer day
Or the frozen white snow covering a mountain’s peak.
As loving as a warm blanket on a snowy winter day
And the soft touch of a lover’s hand upon your cheek.

Isn’t that the kind of love and affection that all hearts seek?

Joyful like the sound of the songbird’s sweet melody in the morning air
Or the sensation of the sun’s warm rays upon your skin.
As rare as the sight of a phoenix gliding upon the air
And the day when the earth will no longer spin.

Why do so many lose heart after they’ve tried so hard to win?

Breathtaking like the shimmering stars in the crystal clear night
Or the soft cascade of water upon smooth river rocks.
As soothing as the pale moonlight bathing the world in silver light
And the whisper of the wind passing through the treetops.

Can you promise to love me until the flow of time stops?
