i couldn’t see for thelights in your eyes worked so dimly
a grey palette of collapsed stars
all within this tiny area;
my finger through the keyhole
brought brimming forth salty tear
seas of mustard green, wendy’s
and the gelatin they hadn’t
known existed –
i stood by the pier, in one
hand in your picturesque view;
an icelandic winter, revisions
made to cater to the way you’d
genuflect in their presence
( it’s strange to me
how two people so ugly
could create such a beautiful sound )

a/n: it’s imperative that my cat dies now. i’m quite sick and as i was writing this he’d been meowing like crazy. ugh.
