'Friends'

What would I do if you were

to die?

Would I die with you, or would I

continue to live?

All of the fights were harmless

squabbles.

All of the laughs we shared are

as memorable as the day we first

met.

All of the tear that were shed will forever

be embedded in our beating hearts.

Again I ask- 'What would I do if you

were to die?'

This time I have an answer that may help

explain it all- Physically I will be alive, yet

emotionally I will be dead.

'Why is this?' I hear you ask.

'Because your my best friend.' I

reply with a smile.
