Birthdays

Birthdays come and go.

Some are sad, while others are bad.

Sometimes it can very happy.

Other times it can be like another day, not important at all.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once a year friends, and loved ones are near.

To celebrate the day of your birth,

So hip, hip, hooray what a wonderful day,

To turn fifty years old on this day,

Which is to say half a century old?

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Every year we get older, but we also get wiser.

Along the way, through ashes, and thorns,

Through these experiences, we are better for this.

A year older, but a year better.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Birthday to you, and I hope you have a good year.

May this year bring you joy, and happiness?

For the best is yet to come.

Half a century is just half a lifetime.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

A/N: I will be 50 years old on Feb 8th this year.

A/N: Please push the blue button that says, go and review. You know you want to do it.

Keep smiling. :-)
