This world is too small

Way too small

For me and you

Except its you and me

Because the first person pronoun

Goes last on the list.

And if you switch them

Then the world (as we know it) might end.

But then again

Who would miss it?

Because this world is too small

For us

Like an over packed city bus

When you’re lost in town

Your map was upside-down

And you’re asking for directions

Receiving grammatical correction.

As if you give a damn.

When words aren’t enough

Who you are or who I am

The answers cannot be found in an encyclopedia

And you are not in the Webster Dictionary

So You made your own page on Wikipedia

And you burned down the library

And now you are in jail

It’s a great opportunity

to hate this society.

And Take a life long vacation

To miscommunication.

It’s a perfect time for imperfection

Your one weapon against infection.

Its not a lie it’s just a bluff

You’re not evil just confused

I’m not sick I’m Getting “better”

Its not lost it’s some where safe

It’s not a gun it’s just a pistol

There was no push just the fall

From dreams too big

In a world too small
