Rise Above

Some people want everything;
Ignoring the little things
Others need just to survive.

'Coz some things are priceless;
Worth too much or worthless
Depending on who wants to buy.

See through the disguise
They've pulled over your eyes.
Think for yourself and break free.

'Coz problems won't go away
By avoiding them day by day.
Why is it so hard to see?

That truth, honesty, hope and love
Rise above ignorant uncertainty.

It doesn't take that much
To change someone's world but
Some don't try to help at all.

They try hard to stop you,
Say: "There's nothing you can do."
But they're the one's who will fall.

'Coz truth, honesty, hope and love
Rise above indifferent disregard.

I'm trying to understand
Just where I stand.
If no one seems to care
Then why do I?
