Excerpt from Slavers & Stalkers:

The rain poured down as Ivy watched the Shadow Stalker approaching her from Club Skull. Michael had been correct when he had told her Carlita frequented the club day and night. Ivy studied Carlita’s movements and attitudes as she stood waiting. A smirk appeared on Carlita’s face, she obviously thought she was nothing compared to her. Well, Ivy would show her just how wrong she was once she was out of the view of onlookers.

Ivy smiled as Carlita came to a halt before her; she was nearly a foot taller and quite a bit larger than Ivy’s small frame, but it didn’t bother her. Carlita would die and Ivy would disappear to a place where Christian would not find her. Carlita looked her up and down slowly, judging her and whether or not she would be a good challenge.

“You’re new to this, aren’t you, little girl?” She shook her head. “You must be one of Christian’s little floozies. He never teaches any of those in his employment the rules that we must abide by. One of the first rules we learn is that Stalkers are off limits to other Stalkers. However I will make the exception for you, since you had come all this way just for little ‘ol me.” Carlita looked her up and down again, before snorting. “I must say that I am not impressed. Christian was truly mistaken when he decided you would cut it in this game.”

Ivy’s eyes darkened at the insult. She wasn’t about to let Carlita get away with it. Deciding ‘screw it’ Ivy knew she would not make Carlita’s death appear as an accident per Christian’s orders. Ivy was going to enjoy this assassination and couldn’t care less if people saw their fight or not. She didn’t even care if she were to be caught on tape killing Carlita or even caught. Ivy closed her eyes slightly as a wicked grin appeared on her face. A moment later she rushed forward and knocked Carlita to the ground. Her smile brightened as she slammed Carlita’s head into the cement several times. She was going to die, slowly and painfully no matter how long it took. Ivy was going to make certain of it.
