Chapter 1
"Nathan promise me that you won't ever move away from me?" A five year old Evelyn asks a 6 year old Nathan. Nathan smiled, some of his black hair got into his eyes. He looked down at Evelyn, who had short black hair and shorter than him. He took her hands, as an affection, "Of course not Evelyn, I won't leave you. You're my angel, remember?" He said and she blushed.
They were both at Nathan's ginormous house and sitting in front of the porch, watching Evelyn's siberian husky puppy, barks and runs around the yard.
It was a beautiful day and today was the first day of summer. Evelyn was excited to share her summer with Nathan. She'll be playing with Nathan till the cows come home. She'll have someone to talk to and someone to enjoy her company.
Nathan was thrilled that he gets to spend the rest of the summer with Evelyn who's growing up to be a very beautiful girl. Every guy will be lining up for her, but he wants to be the first one to win her.
He knows he's too young to think of this but, when he grows up he's gonna marry her. She was the only friend he have, she was there when he cried, she was there when he needs help, and she was there when he needs a buddy. He don't know what to do if she was away from him.
"Hey Nathan look we have a new neighbor moving in." Evelyn said and pointed across. Nathan followed her eyes and there was a truck on the driveway, with people moving in and out of the house to bring the stuff.
"Do you think they have a child?" Evelyn asks Nathan and his eyebrows knitted together, "No I don't think so, Eve," He said using her nickname that he had given her.
A small boy at the age of 7 walked out from the car and looked around until his eyes landed on the two kids on the other side, his eyes were on the girl, not noticing the boy next to her.
Evelyn smiled, and waved at him, "I think you're wrong Nate," she said and Nathan's eyes narrowed. "Yea, yea," he said.
The boy waved back, grinning. His mom came up behind him, and looked to where he was grinning at and saw the two kids and smiled, "Why don't you go meet them, Robbie?" His mother asked and he shook his head, being shy and new to this neighborhood.
His mom chuckled, "Alright," she retreated back to help the movers with their belongings.
Evelyn stared at the boy, and felt scared but she didn't know why. He looked...scary. Brown/red hair with strange blue eyes with a little bit of white in it around the Iris. She gave a small shudder, "Should I go introduce myself?" She asked Nathan.
Nathan gave a shrug, Evelyn smiled and hopped down the steps while he kept a hawk eye on her.
Evelyn smiled at the boy, "Hi I'm Evelyn." She introduced herself. "I'm Robbie.." He said softly, and she giggled, "Don't be shy we're not gonna hurt you, that's Nathan over there." She said and pointed at Nathan.
Robbie felt comfortable with her so he lose his shyness and smiled, "That's a beautiful name, Evelyn." She blushed, "You want to eat dinner with my mommy?" She asked and he smiled, "But first I have to ask my mom." He ran back inside and told his mom and she nodded letting him go.
That was the begining of a beautiful friendships of the three friends.
They laughed, play, joke around, and share things except ice cream. Evelyn grew fond of Robbie but Nathan was not, he couldn't let his friend hang out more than him.
When Nathan's parent's told him that they were moving to Florida, Evelyn was sad to see her best friend soon-to-be-husband go away but at least she has Robbie with her, right?
That was the last time Evelyn saw Nathan. And as the years go by, Evelyn and Robbie grew up. Evelyn was insanely gorgeous, every heads were turn when she walked down the sidwalk. Robbie grew up to be very hot, his hair grew longer so it fell over his eyes but his strange eyes were still the same.
Evelyn's hair had grown longer but she dared to cut it to midback and her blue eyes always change to dark when she's moody or under the weather.
They were the best of friends, but sometimes Evelyn missed her first best friend, Nathan. She tried to contact him but it never reached him.
Now at the age of 19, Evelyn and Robbie was anxious for college and meeting new friends. "You nervous?" Robbie asked her. She smiled up at him, "A little but at least I have someone there for me." She said and took his hand into her small ones.
He squeezed it and took a deep breath as they entered the school. No one noticed the two people who were standing together, no one noticed the tall, hot, boy with to-die-for eyes, or the cute girl with amazing blue eyes and soft black hair.
They were too busy meeting their long time friends and going to class. "Well I guess this is it." Evelyn sighed and smiled up at Robbie.
He smiled at her, god she was getting more beautiful every waking moment and his feelings for her had grown strong for her.
"Yep this is it, and it was as if it was yesterday, you introduced yourself to me." He joked and she laughed, "Come on." She dragegd him to the designated classroom and took a seat there.
Little did they both know, especially Evelyn, that there was a new student coming, all the way from Florida.
