Silver Lining

When was the last time I breathed,
To be one with the sky.
Clouds blown by the wind,
Even they do not know how they fly.

There are so many types,
Clouds up high and down low.
Clouds blown by the wind,
Over kingdoms they never did know.

Some days the clouds would cry,
Their tears falling to the ground.
Clouds blown by the wind,
Rumbling thunder their sorrowful sound.

People would look up,
Wonder why the clouds wept.
Clouds blown by the wind,
Wondering where its heart is kept.

Some clouds do not know,
Their color a dark black.
Clouds blown by the wind,
It is a heart that these clouds lack.

So they float and do not know why,
Waiting for love.
Clouds blown by the wind,
Silver light from the sun above.
