One Little Mistake

It’s simply beautiful, really.

And I’m not being sarcastic either

The matters of the heart really do matter

Not like I thought

But I guess it’s to late

Because I got in the way of what could have become

But there’s no point in redoing what’s already been done

I don’t think it matters now

Everything happens for a reason

But I can’t help but feel a little incomplete.

What could have been--never happened

And so I want you to know

What happened--shouldn’t have

And I’m immensely sorry for that

I’ll be waiting for you to forgive me

Till the day I breathe my last

And I hope you know,

I’ll be repenting this mistake I made

Everyday

For the rest of my life

A/N- Ah...my first poem posted on here.XD!! What did you guys think...You know I had this whole like layout planned for this thing...But it won't let me do it...DARN!! anyway...PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW...I don't know how my poetry is and I want to know the truth...well a few good comments would be nice also!!
