Liz's POV
It was a Monday morning. Rick was sleeping. Mom was reading the newspaper and Jeff, he was drinking his coffee. I was just eating cheerios. One fell on the floor. Spike walked by and ate it. All of a sudden, his phone rang. He picked it up. He left the kitchen and walked into the living room. I got up and threw the rest of my cereal away. I went upstairs and walked into Rick's room.
"Come on loser.
Wake up, we have school." I said, while throwing a pillow at
him.
"6 more minutes." he responded.
"Now."
I said.
I grabbed the water bottle hidden under his bed and spilled it all over him.
"Ahh! That's cold." he
said.
"Well thats what you get, now wake up." I told
him.
"Fine." he said.
I walked out of his room and walked downstairs, I took a quick peek in the living room to see if he was still on the phone. And of course he was. I picked my bookbag up from the floor and sat down by mom.
"Hey mom." I
said.
"Hunny, how are you?" she asked.
"Fine."
I replied.
"That's wonderful." she said.
"Sure
is. Oh, I got the twerp to wake up." I said.
"Thank you
sweetie." she said.
"Do you love Jeff?" I asked
her.
"Of course I do hunny. Why?" She asked me.
"I
was just wondering." I replied.
The only reason I asked her that is because I knew he didn't love her. He only loved himslef.
"I'm going to school." I said.
"You don't
want to wait for your brother?" she asked me.
"No."
I said.
"Why not?" she asked.
"Fine. I'll wait."
I said.
"Thank you darling." she said.
I waited for Rick. He finally came down after 15 mintues.
"Finally."
I said.
"Okay, lets go." he said.
"What is
that?" I asked.
"My cologne." he replied.
"It
smells horrible." I said.
"Well the ladies like it."
he said.
"You are 12." I said.
"And you are 15."
he said.
"I am 16, you moron." I said.
"Be nice
now." mom budded in.
"Okay." I said.
"Have
fun at school." Jeff
said.
"Okay." Rick said.
We left and walked to school. When I looked back Jeff was staring at me. I turned around and continued walking to school.
