Raging Quiet

Admiring skys of vivid blue

Using his eyes of violet grey,

Listening to the music of the heavens,

A music only he could hear.

No one seems to see his problem,

Instead he’s shunned on every side.

Ignored and whipped by everyone

To hid him of all his “devils”.

Constant locking of the doors,

With no friends, and no companions.

Ignoring the scrabbling and unearthly cries,

Raging in quiet so deaf’ning

A hunguy boy without a purpose,

A “mad man” without family,

Will find hope when hope is gone

In a music no one can hear.

An old man sees a sky of blues

With his tired eyes of violet grey,

He listens closely to the heavens,

A music only he can hear.
