A/N: I wasn't really planning on updating any English stories on fictionpress. Especially since I've been very busy with school lately and I'm having a hard time finishing my other chaptered story on fanfiction.
But...I got this idea in my head and decided to write it down. It's nothing more then a small idea, so I'm not sure how it's going to work out yet.
This is just the prologue, and a very short one I might add. Hopefully the future chapters will become longer.
If by any crazy reason you might like this story, don't expect an update every day, week or even month. School keeps me very busy most of the time, so I don't have a lot of free time to write, sadly enough.

Well, I hope I didn't make to many grammar mistakes.
If I did, informing me is very much appreciated.

Thanks and have fun!

Prologue

“Sophie! Get up you lazy bum!” the shrill voice of a female was heard resounding off the walls of an apartment somewhere in the middle of London.
Although the woman’s voice was loud and travelled far enough for the neighbours to hear, there was no answer to her call.
A slight agitated sigh followed quickly afterwards, followed by dragging footsteps over the wooden floor that decorated the entire living place. Their goal was a white wooden door at the end of a short and dark hallway. Some idiotic architect thought it was handy to put the hall in the middle of the apartment, making it impossible to put in a window for some broad daylight.

Slowly the woman opened the door, revealing herself to a peaceful looking curled up ball under a large pile of blankets.
”Sophie…” the woman’s voice growled a bit out of annoyance that the ball, apparently named Sophie, hadn’t moved one bit. “Damned it Sophie, I’m not your alarm clock you know!”

“Hm…” was heard from under the blankets.
The woman raised one of her eyebrows and crossed her arms over her chest while she stared at the slowly moving ball who, apparently thought, had all the time in the world.
Finally, after what looked like a lifetime, a blonde head popped out from under the blankets and a very flustered young face looked up at the woman who was tapping her foot impatiently.

”Well well, look who decided to wake up.” she mumbled in annoyance, walking over to the small window to open it and let in the bright light of a brand new beautiful summer morning.

The young girl took in a deep breath and stretched her thin arms above her head. “Hmmgood morning mom.” she almost whispered with half closed eyes. Slowly she opened them, looking at her mother from upside down.
Her mothers dark blonde, almost brown looking, short hair was sticking out from all sides. It seemed as if she hadn’t been out of bed for all that long either. She was still wearing her bathrobe and by the looks of it, her pyjama’s as well. Her face still looked a bit tired too, but that was natural. Her mother worked as a nurse at the nearby hospital and had been working double shifts all week. It was good the weekend had started and her mother had a few days off, that way she could catch up on some sleep.

Her mother looked down at her with raised eyebrows as she placed both hands on her sides. “Good morning to you too. Care to drag yourself out of bed, or do you need some help with that?” she asked.

Sophie gave her a small smile and slowly closed her eyes again. The sunlight that poured through the window touched her face with it’s warm beams and made her want to go to sleep again, but she knew that her mother would never allow that. “I’ll get up in a minute, okay?”

Her mother shook her head and shrugged. “Suit yourself, but you’re making your own breakfast young lady. I’m going to take a shower.”

With a tired wave of her hand Sophie let her mother know that she understood and soon she dozed back into a light slumber.
It was until her phone rang an half an hour later, that Sophie woke up again. She let out a soft growl and lazily dropped her hand down on her bedroom floor, touching around blindly looking for her phone.
After it rang for the fifth time she found it and brought it to her ear. “Yeahello?” she mumbled in a tired voice.
The phone still rang, as she had forgotten to push the accept button. She flinched, removing the annoyingly ringing phone from her ear. Slowly she cracked open one eye, in search for that releasing green button on her phone to accept the call. After pushing it she put it back to her ear. “Yes?” she said, a bit more awake now.

”Do you have my green top?”

Sophie frowned, moving her free hand to her forehead. “Huh? Green what?” she asked. She never really was a bright light in the mornings.

My green top, the one I had on the last time we went out and I spend the night at your place, remember? The green top, focus!”

Sophie, who was still trying to figure out who it was she had on the other end of the phone, tried weakly to push herself up with her elbows. “A green top…?” sleep still dripped from her voice, which didn’t go unnoticed by the female she had by her ear.

”Sophie, are you still in bed?! Have you even packed yet?! We’re leaving in like…40 minutes!”

The screeching voice made Sophie flinch a bit, but as the words sunk in slowly she suddenly felt very much awake. “Holy fuck!” she yelled out through the phone and sitting up all at the same time. “Hannah, why didn’t you call me sooner!”

How am I supposed to know that you were going to forget to set your alarm!”

“Because I always forget to set my frick’n alarm clock! Damn it!” she cursed loudly, jumping out of the bed. She picked up a carelessly folded pair of jeans from the floor and ran to her closed to pick out a random white top.

Well don’t get mad at me for oversleeping! How can you oversleep on a day like this, huh? We’re going on vacation for crying out loud!”

Sophie rolled her eyes and made an annoyed sounding snort. She had placed the phone between her ear and shoulder and was now trying to put on her jeans. “Yeah yeah, I know.”

Please tell me that you’ve packed already…”

Sophie was about to answer when she found her foot to be stuck in the wrong side of the jeans. Her eyes grew large as she lost her balance and fell backwards to the hard cold floor, her phone falling next to her head. “Ow, fuck…” she groaned, rubbing the back of her head with her hand, her eyes squinting in pain.
She could hear the loud and high pitched voice of her best friend softly in the background while she turned her head a few times to get the soreness out of her neck. That’s when she noticed a piece of garment in the darkness under her bed.
With a slight chuckle she reached for her phone and pulled it back to her ear. “Hey, I found your green top.”
