Alice and Daemon laughed at each other as they completed the last page of their story, of their life, of their...romance. They smiled as Alice hit enter several times, creating a space between the last paragraph and her new line of words: The End.

They looked upon each other with a happy gleam in their eyes, a sense of accomplishment. Now what was this accomplishment of theirs you might ask? It was because the two had concocted a story, and not just any story, but a darling romance.

You see these knew all what love was about and how it came about and how it was achieve. Though the two were only 14 and 15 years old, their hormones still raging, and possibly they had only seen a romanticized view of romance from the television and novels, they knew exactly what they were getting into. Oh no, and it was not puppy love either, but the epitome of true love. You know, the kind that we all to hope to achieve one day.

Alice laid her head on John's shoulder, sighing happily as watched him check over their document for errors of any kind. Spelling errors, possibly grammatical, but that was it. Nothing else could possibly be wrong within their eyes.

"Do you think that it is ready?" She asked, playing with the tips of his long dark, raven, glossy, soft, shiny, luxurious hair. For, of course, Daemon was one of those mysterious, dark types of guys who all the girls secretly pinned for. Though when he was out in public those same girls would osterize him because was so dark and mysterious. The only girl who could 'understand' him was only Alice. Alice, who before was a girl who hardly anyone noticed. Not that she wanted to be noticed either; school was more important than any boy. That was until Daemon came along.

Now it was an interesting predicament on how they had met. Alice and Daemon had been paired together in Home Economics class to be baking partners, no one else have paired with them in the first place. At first Alice found Daemon too mysterious and slightly arrogant for her tastes. Just because this handsome stranger had moved here from some European country did not mean then he was better than some middle-sized small town in America. Neither was the fact that his parents were awfully wealthy, where Alice's family were just getting comfortably getting by. No, only when they were forced to stay at school together to finish a project on a stormy afternoon, and after much bickering, did they realize that they had anything in common. Common enough to where the buds of romance began to blossom.

"Yes, just any minute now, love." He answered while shifting the laptop across his dark cargo pants, the ones adorned with chains and other gothic items. Alice loved the soft sound of clinking chains. Generally she loved it because it was so different than her personal style. Alice could be considered something of a retro-prep. Not so much into the preppy style, but not too far away as to discount herself. She was different from the rest of those beach blonde and chestnut haired cheerleaders. She was just herself.

Alice was a beautiful girl with dark hair and sparkling green eyes, and many people thought she was beautiful. Yet, she was the last one ever to think so. Alice was the type of girl who knew that she was downright gorgeous but tried not to think so, as to humble herself in a way. She had the perfect body, but she'd never think so. Lovely eyes face and an intelligent brain as well, however, she'd never admit to it.

"And there..." He smiled as he clicked upon the saved button, he was finished. They were finished. And their priceless piece of work about love and life was finished. "We have the ultimate romance for fiction presses my love. Now let us just hope that many read and review it, because it is priceless work, true and to be treasured."

She nodded looking up into his midnight black eyes, "You are so right."

"Yes, I have been known to be so." He chuckled, kissing her gently on the lips.

A flush covered her face, along with a sly smile, "You dork; now I have to get going soon you know. My mom's taking me out to buy some new bras since I'm still growing." Remember, she was only 14. Yet, that didn't matter. With her still changing body she knew everything about life, love, and possibly politics...but that is another story my dearest friends.

"Oh darn, I was hoping to take you out tonight, to sit under the stars and declare my endless love for you." He sighed, smiling gently. "And also, possibly as you to marry me?"

She froze, glued to her spot. "Oh...Daemon. That is...so wonderful...but first...there is something I must tell you..." Alice looked away, her eyes filled with sadness. "Daemon, I'm really a princess who has an inheritance to a secret magical kingdom. I am at war with an enemy country with a dashing young prince who wants to marry me, but I must marry the man of my choice before I am forced to enter a marriage of convince."

He blinked, sighing in relief. Wrapping his arms around her he snuggled her close, nibbling her ear.” Well, then there is something I must tell you, Alice...I really am a demon. I was sent here to make your life hell, but in the meantime I feel in love with you. I really am over a millennium years in age, but have the body of a 15 year old. Do not let that deter you from loving me. Also, I have many powers such as mind-reading and telekinesis."

"That's fine, Daemon. I still love you..." Without finishing her words she kissed him gently on the lips. To which Daemon turned up the heat, kissing her more passionately than ever before.

And they lived happily ever-after, well at least in the FictionPress way of mind.

Don’t you agree?

Now don’t forget to review because high numbers of reviews are the only way that the lovely story of Daemon and Alice will ever be read. Otherwise looking eyes will casually gloss over this wonderful tale for another tale with many reviews. Because high reviews mean a good story.
