There may be times to come,
When you I cannot see,
Days shall grow dark and cold,
And together we will not be,

It may seem like forever,
'Til on thee I may set my gaze,
Whether it be years,
Or months or hours or days,

But I have this great comfort,
In a promise tried and true,
That with thee I shall forever be,
In the Land beyond a sky of blue.
