You think because you hear me speak,
You know the words I'm saying.
You think because you've learned my name,
You know my character.
You think because you hear my song,
You know the melody within my heart.
You think because you see my face,
You know the color of my spirit.
You think because I stand before you,
You know the person who I am.
But you have yet to touch the surface,
My well runs deeper still.
Judge me not,
Before you think to Know;
Lest in your haste
You should forget to see,
that I am much more
then you think of me.

A/N: I wrote this over a year ago, and I continually reedit it over and over, but for some reason it always ends up almost exactly the same as the original. Today I did it again, and this time it's a little different, and I think I might actually finally be done changing it.
