Revulsion

Did you realize what changed,
or did it happen too fast?
What you said would always last
has passed me by.
Is your life speeding up?
Or am I slowing down,
while the fire surrounds,
and I don't know why
all the pieces don't fit,
but you really didn’t give a shit.
You never wanted to be with me.
But for all you aspire,
all you are is a liar,
and you’re running out
of things you can do.

I'd like to stay,
but every day,
you just keep pushing me farther away.
If I could show,
help you to know,
how badly I want to pull you down below.

Breathing and breeding and
Seething and feeding.
Bleeding, misleading,

Lines once drawn are starting to blur.

Lying, implying and
Trying, denying,
Crying and dying,

Lines when traced, lead right back to her.

It’s not full, but enough.
The knot’s undone,
but come on,
I’ve got to end what you've begun
that hasn't yet become
so numb,
so I’m second to none.
And god damn,
I am so tired of pretending
that I wish that I was ending,
when you’re the one who really I wish had died,
but now I keep it inside,
in this place I reside,
my decay still divides,
maybe I wish I’d decide.

Breathing and breeding and
Seething and feeding.
Bleeding, misleading,

Lines once drawn are starting to blur.

Lying, implying and
Trying, denying,
Crying and dying,

Lines when traced, lead right back to her.
