Chivalry Is Not Dead
When one views the title above they may indeed laugh or even stop reading. I don't blame them, after all chivalry is a rare thing to come by in this day and age.
That's why it came as a surprise to my chaps when I when I announced my cleaver idea to bring back sure they laughed at the first thought of it, their nerd like snickering faces hid behind thin hands, but I wasn't about to give up hope.
In fact, the next day they all apologized and agreed they had nothing to lose and would try out my little plan. This was how our Chivalry “club” was born. I was surprised to find that my bookish friends were rather interested after all and were willing to give up their computer games and Pokemon cards to spend one week devising a plan to bring back chivalry.
Later in college our work was complete and our club official. We had succeeded in bringing chivalry back, and the results were phenomenal. It was as though we had undergone a transformation. We had molded our personalities, raised our confidence, changed our appearance (and I must say, we looked very sexy). And right away girls were coming at us left and right. It was a wonder what ten nerdy boys could accomplish in only four years at high school.
We all knew what we wanted though. No, it wasn't sex. Although as guys we all hoped it would go without saying if we successfully fell in love with a girl. That's what we truly wanted; to fall in love. That, and to bring chivalry back. And by doing so we had any girl we wanted. That meant by the time we were ready to marry we'd be able to choose whoever we wanted. The perfect female.
It was probably a good thing we all went to separate colleges. The college just wasn't big enough two of us. At least if we wanted however we want. Okay, please don't think me arrogant or conceited. We weren't trying to play these girls. In fact we rarely dated. But we were nice to them. And if that's a crime I'm sorry, but the good lord did say “love thy neighbor as thy self”. Sorry, didn't mean to go all nerdy.
So, it was my second semester and the world...well, the college was my oyster. Now all I needed to find was the pearl. That perfect pearl.
As always, title is subject to change and most likely will. This will probably be written on my spare time and is a more like a story that will test my abilities to not only write well, but write a good romance.
Be expecting more soon. I'm really excited about this idea. Also, lemme know what you guys think of it. Too gay? Great idea? Curious about how it's gonna turn out? Please review with your thoughts.
Oh, and the guys is indeed british.
