Darkness and silence hang in the air,

this is the place where no one cares.

The flag doesn't wave in glory,

there's no freedom on the 13th story.

This is where the children are beaten,

the pets are gone, cooked and eaten.

This is where it's lonely and cold,

everything covered in dust and mold.

This is where no one's smart,

too broken and lazy to get a start.

Wish there was justice in this place,

but there's only crime in this case.

This is the place where everyone's dead,

gone insane, lost their head.

There is a place like none on Earth,

where you don't get things for what they're worth.

Where you starve with hunger,

die when you're younger.

Live in nightmares, go insane,

where anger is something that you can't contain.

This is the place where there is no hope,

where people don't know how to cope.

This is a place with only drugs and beer,

where people waste away their life year by year.

This is a place that's sad and broken,

where lies are told and the truth isn't spoken.

This is the place where everything falls apart,

where there is no love, no heart.

This is the place where people suffer in pain,

This is the world that exists in vain.
