Chapter 1: Unwanted

Lady Eve frowned with her lips pressed into a thin line at me clearly disappointed “Why did you do that? You should know by now it was the wrong thing to do.” She pauses there for where my apology is supposed to be but I don’t offer one, not even close, I stared back at her blankly. Her frown deepened and her lips pursed, I blink. She was becoming more irritated “Well?” I finally display an emotion- disinterest. I shrug carelessly not caring, if it was Kat that done it she would have let her leave without a second thought but not me, I was the unwanted burden, the so-called black sheep, I was the Kitty Blakare. I was the twin sister of Kat Lumina who everyone treasured because she was the golden child who was to take over the Elementals Academy after Judas our current leader. My mother glared at me in disgust “Kitty, what did I do to deserve such an ungrateful daughter like you? Go away and find someone else to bother.”

Well when people say no one loves you more than your mother, I highly doubt it. Before you judge me let me tell you some things about myself. I live in the world between Earth, Hell, and Heaven. Earth is full of humans with nearly no spiritual or supernatural power but a select few have, too bad there is no academy there since most humans don’t believe in powers and such. Hell on the other hand has much more gifted beings but it’s a really hot place to live with their sun’s rays only metres away from touching their world. Their largest academy’s leader is a Shadow Master but almost no-one knows his name. Judas is the leader of our academy. The leader is well respected and powerful so no one wants to mess with him. Leaders of each academy are the most skilled if not powerful in their district. Most leaders are fair but Judas wasn’t most, he either ignored you (most people), treated you badly (his family- me, Kat, Lady Eve/mum) or hated you (me). If he hated you he would do everything to make your life hell (no pun intended) unfortunately this included me, his own daughter, but I wasn’t exactly his since 99.88 of me was my spiritual parents while the other 0.02 was mother: Eve and father :Judas. Kat my sister is the same except her spiritual parents are different to mine, hers come from the light while mine come from the darkness. That would probably explain why my hair is midnight black and hers is pearl white. Our eyes are unique yet the same – the colour could change with our will or our emotions but usually mine are grey like a void but hers are clear blue like sincerity. Our physical father Judas is a well built man in his 1999 650’s and soon to pass away. Our mother Lady Eve is only 1400 790 though so she has a few millenniums to go. How our physical parents fell in love is a mystery. Eve is pale complexioned with honey blond hair down to her knees, she always wears a pale coloured robe-like dress and her eyes are brown. Judas is a very powerful yet awful being. He was raised by a carver – a being that is able to cut up anything even gods, Judas has the scars to prove it. He treats his family like his father treated him, harshly.

I guess he likes to punish us since we’re not really his and he like Kat slightly better because she looks like she’s his daughter but me on the other hand…
