“Hello?” I answer the phone

“Uh, hi? Is Ray there?” his smooth voice questions, and my knees feel a little weak.

My breathing hitches, “No I’m really sorry, he just went out, but he’ll probably be back in about 10 minutes, if you want to call back…”

Please call back, please call back.

“That’s cool, I’ll call back soon, thanks for you help”

“You’re welcome, bye”

His voice, deep and smooth echo’s through my mind, I know it’s stupid to be obsessed, I only know his voice, but I can’t help it, something about him grabbed me, makes me wonder…
