I wrote this because I'm so sick of music always being so serious and all those love songs about how people want commitment and because can never just go... wild? Don't know if that makes sense.

Please tell me if you understand the meaning of this.

---

Sunday Lovers

---

Goin’ down the stairs, I fall

one Saturday eve

and that’s when it hits me

---

We’re Sunday lovers

and Monday friends

strangers on Thursday

but by Friday “what the hell”?

---

‘Cause baby we ain’t made of glue

why stick to one spot

when you can jump and fly

like a crazy rubber band?

---

Call me indecisive – who cares? (who cares, who cares)

I just don’t wanna

eat the same thing all week

What’s there not to get?

---

Flyin’ from an airplane

on Tuesday mornin’

spontaneous ’s the word

---

Cause we’re the Sunday lovers

and Monday friends

strangers on Thursday

but by Friday “what the hell”?

---

Don’t wanna be held down all the time (don’t wanna)

don’t wanna be difficult or nothin’ (don’t wanna)

just wanna be me, so face it:

---

I’m a Sunday lover

and a Monday friend

Like a stranger on Thursdays

but who gives a damn ‘bout Fridays?
