--Pocket Watch--

picture perfect slide show
running through my head
times are moving so fast
yet so slow
and its hard to tell if I’m more
scared or excited

but a glance
-just one little look-
makes me want more than ever
to hold on
tighter than imaginable
to something others may deny

I’ll keep a count
of days/months/years
tally up our forever
just so I can make it feel real
tick tock ticking of my heart
erratic until you calm it down
