ROOMMATE BLUES
“I don’t see why you can’t be like everyone else!”
“Everyone else here is a mental case!”
Yelling could be heard along the halls as both roommates fought another pointless fight. It was a routine one could say. They wake up. Glare at each other, eat breakfast. Then, start to begin a pointless quarrel! It was enough to send one mad!
“You walk around here as if you own the place!” the dark haired female stated.
“Well, that could be because I do own this place, if you’ve forgotten Reily”
The said teen scowled. It wasn’t fair, just because he owns the place and he’s a freaking billionaire does not mean he had the right to boss her around!
“Just shut up! You think you’re so smart just because you have all this money” she pouted. He got her so angry over the slightest thing! It drove her mad!
Alex grinned with satisfaction. In a greedy gesture he reached out for his roommate. Reily glared daggers at him. In a deadly motion she barred her teeth.
“One step closer and I’ll rip out your jugular”
The threat took him aback. He knew it would upset her, that’s why he always did it. To get a rise out of her, he never thought that she would actually crack one day.
Yet, of course, Alex being the idiot he is took a step closer. Which in turn, she took a step back. Repeating the process over until she was up against the wall. She trembled against him. Though, he didn’t know if out of fear or rage.
He looked down at her kindly, lowering his lips to hers.
He kissed her. Reily pushed him away quickly, in more fear than rage. Her burgundy orbs glared fiercely at him. She tried with most, if not all her might to not rip him limb from limb.
How could he do that?!
More importantly…why?
“I hate you!” she spat.
What else was she left to do? She had no more room for fear, anger, not even love. Was there ever such a thing? Just the thought of the word, sent un-wanting chills. She could always ignore him? Yet, there is one little problem. Trying to avoid someone you share a room with is pretty much impossible.
She had only one option left, what she always done with her problems.
Run.
She took off with great speed, not wanting to be near him or even think of him.
She slammed the door to her room so hard that it might have broken off the hinges. Her breathing was ragged as she feared the thumping sensation that was her heart, it really hurt to think of him. Think that he was so kind and gentle with her, that he wasn’t just some rich snobby player he seemed to be.
Yet, how could someone like him, some rich, glamorous, snob have feelings for someone like her? She was nobody. It wasn’t fair; she wasn’t supposed to like him! It’s just not right, sure fooling around was okay, but actually going head over heals for him was insane! It was like signing her death wish!
But she had to admit.
She wasn’t head over heals for him, more like in over her head. He was out of her league anyway!
It was insane, stupid, and overrated! Nobody falls in love these days mostly because well, there’s no such thing as love.
She hated even thinking of the word, much less feeling it!
Anyone stupid enough to actually believe in it, or even claim to feel it was an idiot! He couldn’t feel for her though, he just wasn’t the type. For god’s sake! His nickname was ‘King-of-the-one-night-relationships’! Do you think he would like her in any other way?
No. Not in the slightest.
She hated him, she didn’t love him, she loathed him! It wasn’t possible; years of hiding her feelings had made her hard, cold, and bitter. It just couldn’t be.
But her heart proclaimed her a liar.
I did this out of pure boredom. It's kind of like a side story to My boyfriend, the werewolf story. Inspired by this one random qoute I had suddenly forgotten about. I'm not sure if I'll even contuine this or not, depends on how many reviews I'll get. I really like this, even if it was for boredom, it was fun. Put a lot of emotion and crap in it...hope if shows?
Anyway, please reveiw!! Tell me what you think and if I should contuine or not!
Thank you!
With much love and blood,
Kmiko. 3
