My friend really wanted a poem for her. About crayons. Haha, it's kind of juvenile, but oh well. I know it isn't my best but I was just experimenting.

Crayons

Red, blue, green, yellow

Order, patience, control

Lines follow lines

And shades pursue shades

With wax to tint

And paper to create

With fingertips to smudge

And sharpeners to sharpen

Purple, orange, pink, gray

Creating her depiction

Slowly, gently, carefully

Finishing her piece
