Sinful Angel

First off, those who were enjoying my story Sinful Angel and were reading and reviewing it, I am so thankful but I am so sorry I had to delete that story mainly because it really wasn't flowing well and because I came across an author's block and I knew it was hopeless to continue it because it wasn't going to be finished let alone begin properly. I was disappointed in my own effort and I didn't like the story line, however, I have improved it and I do hope you will like this story much better. Thank you and I am so sorry.

Chapter 1

"You can't be serious!" exclaimed Amber. "Dad! What do you mean the boys from Blade Academy will be joining Seventh Sanctum? Last I checked we were an all girls academy."

Her father looked up from his laptop, addressing her in a calm tone, "You heard right Amber, the boys will be joining the girls’ academy because their academy was set fire to and they need to get their education somewhere."

"Uh, hel-lo what stops them from burning our academy down?" she fumed.

"What makes you think it was one of the boys that set fire to the academy?"

Hands on hips; face a complete mask of emotion, she answered, "Because that's what boys do, they are immature even if they have reached the age of adulthood. Seriously, they are in their twenties, but that doesn't stop them from being reckless imbeciles!" (A/N: I'm really not trying to offend the guys, or anyone, it's just a nature of my character, so I apologise in advance to anyone who is offended, I promise you that it's not my intention at all!)

Her father looked amused at her daughter's exclamation, never before had he seen her so set against something but he knew there was more to why she was annoyed at the idea that young men will be joining their academy.

But before he could inquire more, she continued, "Furthermore, they all think that us girls are weak and they have far more superior powers, and added to that we always need help when it comes to fighting!"

"Sorry to interrupt, but you do have a point there Amber," said a voice from behind her.

Turning, Amber and her father saw her two friends standing in the doorway. "Raven, Amethyst. How long have you two been standing there?" she asked, pleasantly surprised at the interruption.

"Long enough to understand what you were ranting about," replied Amethyst, shrugging her shoulders as she walked into the room and sat down on the sofa.

"As I was saying, you have a point. Most of them believe they are stronger than us, but we can always prove them wrong, we're tougher than they think," said Amethyst.

Amber's father looked at his daughter, a glint in his eyes. "Look at it this way. It can be fun to have the guys at the academy because you girls are talented and strong and I'm sure there are other girls who'd also like to get even in some way or another, you won't be the only ones."

"Besides, a little competition never hurt anyone," finished Raven.

Thinking about what she heard, she came to the conclusion that it might just be worth it if the boys did attend their academy for a little while. Smirking, she nodded her head in agreement to the Raven's point.

"Guess they'll be expecting a welcoming reception, right?" she question rhetorically, sending a sly glance towards her friends who simply smiled.

And so in a month's time, the three of them found themselves standing on the rooftop of their academy, better known as the Seventh Sanctum, watching as the men made their way in through the large bronze gates of the academy. The ladies watching the sight of them, some in excitement, some in boredom and others quite frankly annoyed at the prospect of having to compete against them.

"An interesting start to the academic year," commented Amber.

"It gets more interesting," said Raven. Amber and Amethyst gave their friend a quizzical look, silently asking for an elaboration.

"Apparently, we're going to be divided into groups or teams based on our strengths and skills, and adding to it we'll be competing against other teams, but this is only during competitions, examinations etc. The teams will have their own headquarters, where we'll find our separate rooms. Other than that we'll be attending lessons, studying and so on, as normal students," she explained.

The two stared in amazement at what she had revealed, unable to form a straight sentence to express their sentiments at the revelation.

"When were they planning on telling us? A better question yet; how exactly did you come about this information?" asked Amethyst, who was the first to regain her ability of speech.

"They were going to tell us during the welcoming assembly and I know this because father has connections with the Magix Council remember?"

"Oh yeah, but anyway, I can't believe that they are changing everything," said Amethyst.

"It's like starting and readjusting to a new school altogether," mused Amber.

“Well, I think we better make our way to the assembly,” Raven suggested, her shoulders slumping as she sighed audibly.

The three of them made their way down to the hall; being the first ones there they took their usual places at the back of the room, shrouded by shadows where anyone coming in wouldn’t notice them.

Few minutes passes before the extremely large, yet elegant room started to fill with the girls, who were closely followed by the boys. They watched as the loud, excited chatter dimmed to a murmur before they all fell silent as the headmaster took the stage in the gallery above the hall, speaking loudly and clearly that his voice boomed to all corners of the room.

“Welcome back to all of you. Now as you can see there are quite a few changes this year, as the boys from Blade Academy are joining Seventh Sanctum due to some unfortunate circumstances.”

He stopped as there was another murmur amongst the crowd of students, before it also settled down, allowing him to speak again.

“There are further more changes taking place in Seventh Sanctum, and there will be more rules, along with the old ones that you all must follow. However, seeing as the rules of this academy are the same as the ones for Blade Academy, we will skip to the new ones, which will be explained to you by Professor Delacroix.”

The said teacher stepped forward. “This year you will be split into mixed teams, each team having at least twelve members. Your team will be ranked depending on how well you do in competitions and challenges us teachers will set for you. In addition, you will be divided based on your strength, skills and abilities and you will all be placed with people who match your rank. Thus, your group which will be given a name will have their own ‘headquarters’; if we can call it that. This is where you will find your respective rooms, along with a living room or whatever you wish to call it, where your team can sit together and socialise, a kitchen if needed and a recreation room. Other than that during breakfast, lunch etc, you can always come to the dining room, you will also attend your classes on time and do everything else as normal. The teachers from both academies have checked your reports and have split you all up into the groups in which we think you will perform the best. You all were divided by taking in account your performance in your exams, thus you are separated and placed in those ranks. Lastly, if you remember you all were given passes when you entered the academy, those are where your dorms are located, so you may make your way to them, there you can meet up with your teammates. Any further rules you will find out through your subject teachers, and this time we have new teachers for all of you to get to know. That is all for now, you are dismissed."

"Team names huh? Well luckily all our cards say Nemesis," Amber pointed out.

"Well this is going to be fun, what say we go check out the living quarters and see who else is in our team?" asked Amethyst.

"What say we first go and stake our claims on the best rooms instead, and then meet the peeps?" Amber replied with a question.

Raven smirked. "Or we could do that," she agreed.

Walking out of the elegant hall, Chase voiced, "I'm missing our academy already. Honestly the girls are acting as if they've never seen a guy before."

"Forget that, we have to share our quarters with twelve other people and though I can understand where they are coming from, I need my privacy," commented Zane, coming to a stop in front of two large oak doors, designed with intricate details and the name Nemesis engraved in the rich wood.

"Well, at least we are in the same group," said Chase, swiping his card in the sentinal beside the doors. They opened silently to a corridor with another doorway; one made of steel, which slid open as the heavy oak doors closed behind them, revealing a modern mainroom with a plasma widescreen television that took up half a wall, with a computer keyboard, a hi-fi system and all the hi-tech modern systems that were available. There was also a round sofa built into the ground and a small staircase on either side leading to the base where the sofa, television etc was laid out.

On the side was a kitchen, with a counter, dining table, refridgerator, microwave and more were found. Overall on the whole it was a modernised version of a mansion.

"At least it has great accommodations," monotoned Damien.

"Fit for a Prince, Your Highness?" he teased, shooting his friend a grin in turn receiving an unamused look.

"Shut up Chase, that's not even remotely funny," groaned Zane, making his way to the doors on the left that slid open, leading to what he assumed would be the bedrooms.

"I wasn't trying to be funny," he argued.

Zane refrained from rolling his eyes. "Whatever," he sighed. "Anyway, I've been meaning to ask, who do think is stupid enough to set Blade Academy on fire?"

"Dunno," answered Chase, shrugging his shoulders as he became thoughtful. "But whoever it was will have a lot to answer for."

"I don't think it was one of the guys who attended Blade Academy," said Damien, his gold coloured changing to a blood red, his features becoming cold and dark.

"You're thinking the academy was set alight on purpose by Zodiac, aren't you and that we were histargets?" asked Chase, suddenly wary.

"I agree with you there, I'm also thinking that he had someone carry it out for him," suggested Zane. "We know he wouldn't appear in person, that coward."

"If we can only figure out what it is he wants, and why he wants us out of his way," Damien muttered viciously.

The three of them were deeply engrossed in their thoughts that they were startled at a soft feminine voice drifting through one of the metal doors down the end of the coridors. As the initial shock wore off, they turned to each other in surprise.

"Looks like some of our teammates beat us to the best rooms, I'm guessing," whispered Zane, smirking slightly as he looked back towards where the voice had come from.

"We'll carry on our conversation later," said Damien. "For now we have other matters at hand."

I had no idea how to end this chapter, but I hope it's good.
Please leave a review, it's nice to know whether you like the fic or not. Many people get so many hits for their stories yet no one reviews, it's not a nice feeling, it makes the people who write stories think that it's not worth it.

So do review, it's alway appreciated, even if it's two words, people put a lot of time and effort into their stories.

If you don't like the fic it's understandable.

Lastly, can anyone please suggest a title, unless you think the title Sinful Angel fits.
