Author's Note:
It's kind of depressing, and since it's about me, it kind of makes me seem...well, depressed. I guess I kind of am, because of this guy, but I try to get over it. I'm not over him; it seems kind of impossible to be, but I can get over the fact that I'm depressed. It's my favorite poem that I've written, because it's about me. Okay, that makes me sound self-conceited...whatever! This tells a LOT about my relationship with him; if you read it carefully, or you just have a quick mind, you can see what I've...we've been through.

Fairy Tale Ending
This girl is a believer, yet she just can't seem to believe
That there's only one boy that she can conceive
She can't get him out of her head and knows it's too late
Her heart wants to love, but she wants to hate
This boy is a heartbreaker, and her heart, he broke
She wants them to be together, but she knows they won't
They could have been something if only she had understood
Those four years ago, and she knew had she would
Hates it she loves him but wonders the meant to be
She can't believe that way back then that she couldn't see
She isn't Cinderella, and doesn't want to be a princess
Every time he is mentioned, she just flinches
She talks to other boys trying to make him jealous
But he just talks to other girls that makes her covetous
He doesn't go intentional, but she gets emotional
Her regret in her heart is growing dysfunctional
If there's one thing she really hates, it's Valentine's day
Even though she sent it, he didn't have to say
She wonders what they could've been if she had seen
He liked her, all his teasing what he really meant
Her life is going crazy as she finds herself crying
She can't tell the truths no more, she finds herself lying
What's happening to her? What happened to them?
All she wants for them is for them to be friends
At night, daydreaming only keeps her sane
Her head still turns at every drop of his name
She loves his eyes, lovely with his smile
She knows that they used to be friends for a while
She doesn't know what's about him that just made
Doesn't tell why she's attracted, she's afraid
That they might just fall in love as well
That kind of pain would be she never felt
She knows she's just kind of obsessed
He's the one she can't get outta her head
She wonders if they're meant to be through past ties
She can't get over him no matter how she tries
He's the only thing that has her drawing hearts
All over her notebooks, split into two parts
Flashbacks and daydreams are all she sees
To go back in time is the key
She doesn't want to think but she thinks she's in love
All this pain he's given her is finally enough
Every time she hears love songs or sees couples
Or when she's reading romance, her pain doubles
She can't ever control her emotions anymore
With a shorter temper and her head getting sore
She's confused, she's angry, she's sad and depressed
All because of him, her life's turned into a mess
She can't stop thinking about the one she wants to hate
Anything can make her think, she doesn't want fate
She wants what they used to be instead of what's now
She wants to get over him but she doesn't know how
She just didn't know it, and she knows life's unfair
She highly doubts that he still even cares
She already knows he's pretty much over her
Still she can't seem to manage his overtures
She remembers everything that they used to have
She doesn't want to ever have the feeling of being sad
But her heart can't contain because she has so many aches
Jealousy and denial just turns her into a fake
Maybe one day God will fulfill all her dreams
Maybe one day he'll see past what she seems
Maybe one day he'll remember what was the past
Maybe he'll think they'd be together at last
Doubt and hope to fate just fills her empty heart
She's just still waiting, waiting for her life to start
She's still waiting for him to open those caring eyes
Still waiting for him to finally realize
Letting go of the old times and keep on moving forward
That's what she tries to do, but nowhere she gets toward
Now that she knows that she liked him all along
Full of regret, it's a pity that he's already gone
She's a daydreamer, and she believes in those miracles
She wants that boy to be expressively spiritual
She wants she hopes she dreams and she wishes
There's so much about him that she misses
She doesn't want anything else
She just wants him
He's the only one
That she wants to be with
But she knows that she won't
Her heart isn't mending
She just knows that she
Won't get a fairy tale ending
