My Heart On Paper

I am impersonal about this,
With all of you,
So you do not know,
How deep these words go.
I bare my soul
And you do not know.
I want to tell you, with all my heart,
That I mean this,
But you do not know.
You listen intently for some break,
In my voice, that’s all around you,
For you do not know.
This poem hangs unemotional in the air,
You just heard my heart on paper,
Yet you do not know.

A/N: I wrote this a little under a year ago for my creative writing class when we were allowed to write any type of poetry we wanted to, to read to the class. We had already done a lot of different and emotional poems, some of which had left more than a cople of us in the class in tears. This was what I felt when ever I had read my poems to the class. When I read this out loud in class, people had seemed to like it. I hope you guys do to. ...Just thought I'd share. :D
