Queen of Blood

The past fades away

Like sand taken by an ocean’s wave

The dawn brings forth this new day

When I’ll stop digging my grave.

The crown digs thorns into your brow

Mine made of a goddess’ glistening tears

You make everlasting vows

Whispered softly, tenderly, in my ear.

A crow sounds its lasting croak

A white dove meets its doom

The bond between connects like iron smoke

As the Earth weeps for the fatal bloom.

My lips kiss the fruit

You take it in blackened hands

A statue in a black silk suit

My king of barren stone lands.

Poison travels through my veins

I let the tears fall as I crumble in your arms

The fires of hell lock their white-hot chains

And I’m soothed by perfection’s charms.

The hounds now call for the hunt

Don’t discard your bloodstained gown

And sharpen your teeth; the blade’s too blunt

In blood, dear God let me drown!
