Over the past few years we’ve had a lot of fall-outs

But this past year has into my mind a lot of doubts

Each time, I would put the nagging thoughts at the back of my mind

I would tell myself that I would give her one more chance

she left for a new school last May

I began to think that it was for the better that she and I were a good distance away.

I’d never thought I’d say this

She and I were once close friends

But now our friendship has long since reached its end.
