Completely random, depressing, and confusing. The living part of the brain is the suicidal one. The dead is the, well, non-suicidal one.

Two minds stuck inside one head

One is living, one is dead

The living part took over the brain

The dead one tried to live (in vain)

The living told the mind to do

Something that will startle you

It told its owner to take a gun

And use it to shoot everyone

Now both those minds are dead

Trapped inside a bleeding head
