Take my life and make it yours.

Without a fight, without a cause.

Who are you to judge my time?

To set me free when you deem right?

Bind my soul in bleeding chains,

Lock my heart with another's pains,

My mind and self the only key:

To be given, handed free.

Trapped and caged with no escape.

Is it real, is it fate?

Forgotten because I would not obey -

I broke the rules, I was not your prey.

Scream the truth and fight the lies,

No longer living through other's eyes.

Little heretic skipping off to school -

No longer afraid to be uncool.

Lie the chains at the captives feet.

Beg for mercy, hope her heart still beats.

Give back the life, the soul, the lock.

Hope that you can turn back the clock.

Numbness comes with fighting all,

I cannot feel, but I cannot fall.

To proove what's right I must not fail:

I must live on to tell my tale.

So flood the tears and bleed the rain.

I'm crying blood, wet fears again.

One more cut? Just one more time?

Leave me be, I'll be fine.

Bring forth the blade, take me away.

Ride the waves, Im still okay.

Dont leave me here, take me home:

Show me that I'm not alone.

Keep it bleeding, watch it flow.

Falling as the puddles grow.

Tears and blood, salt and rust

Heart of stone, heart of dust.

The scars will be forever.
