Tomorrow Comes Again

-

The vast world, neverending.

It moves within this frame,

ticking, looping.

-

I watch through bright, soulful eyes,

but not really seeing.

I am brilliant, titanic,

but not really seen.

-

Faithless, hopeless.

-

My voice rings with loud, excited tones,

but not really laughing.

I am running, fighting,

but not really moving.

-

The world broke,

spilling a plague of whiteness.

-

Hope, less. Care, less. Limit, less.

Endless.

-

See without seeing,

Laugh without laughing.

Nothing.

-

The tiny hourglass, rotating.

It escapes from my grasp.

-

Forgetting yesterday,

Tomorrow comes again.
